Is my money safe?

Yes. In compliance with the FCA client money rules, all client funds are held in a segregated client trust account.

What is Assure Hedge?

Based in Dublin with an office in London, Assure Hedge is a company that has developed an innovative and award-winning financial technology that is empowering banks, brokers and payments companies to seamlessly offer currency options to their customers with Assure Hedge managing all of the regulation and technology.

What is foreign exchange rate risk?

It is the financial risk arising from fluctuations in the value of a base currency against a foreign currency, also known as currency risk.

Account Registration

What documentation is required for a customer to register for an account?

Part of our registration process requires a valid form of ID (Passport, EU/EEA or National Identity Card) to be uploaded for identification purposes. Additionally, a proof of address is required showing that you are domiciled at your said address, being a bank statement, letter from tax authorities or a utility bill.

Does it cost a customer to register for an account?

No. Registration is free.

How can my customers register for an account?

To register for an account with us, your customers click the Sign-Up link located on your website. If the customer is registering directly on the Assure Hedge site, you can click the Sign-Up link here

Technology

How long will it take to integrate your technology into our system?

The length of time for integration depends largely on the solution chosen and the agreement arranged between Assure Hedge and you. Contact us for more information.

Quote Generator

What is the quote generator?

The quote generator is Assure Hedge’s online platform designed to help businesses of all sizes manage their foreign currency risk with currency options.

Do I have to use the quote generator to trade in Options?

The holder of an option has the right to buy/sell currency as a specific price for a defined period of time. For more information click here.

Settlement Date

What is the Settlement Date?

This is the date on which the currency exchange occurs.

When is my Settlement Date?

Your option order’s settlement date information is contained within your Order Confirmation Note.

What if my funds aren’t paid in by the settlement date (cutoff date)?

If the relevant funds are not in place on time, we will settle your option order as an upside settlement.

Can I get a reminder of when my settlement date is?

An automated email reminder for the settlement payment is sent 10 days before and again at 3 days before.

Premium

When is my premium payment due?

The premium is due within 2 business days of the option order’s acceptance.

What if my premium payment is late?

If your premium payment has not been received within 2 business days of your option order being accepted, your option will be deemed terminated.

Is my premium refundable?

Your premium is a non-refundable payment to secure your option booking.

Trades

What do I do if I book a trade in error or there is a mistake in my booking?

Is there a minimum amount per trade?

€10,000 is the minimum amount required for each trade you book.

What is the minimum amount of time I can book an option or forward for?

1 week is the minimum amount of time for an option or forwards contract.

In what hours can I make trades?

Trading via our platform is available from 8am - 6pm London time.

What do I do if I no longer need the trade?

Can I settle my trade early?

Yes, trades may be settled early. Contact our trading desk at tradingdesk@assurehedge.com or by phone: +44 (0) 203 695 1338 for more information.

Can I part-settle my trade at any time?

Yes, you may part-settle your trade at any time during the life of the contract. Contact our trading desk at tradingdesk@assurehedge.com or by phone: +44 (0) 203 695 1338 for more information.
